The Financial Academy and Hoa Binh University co-organized a seminar titled “Sharing Experiences and Guidelines for Building Project Proposals for Erasmus Plus Funded by the European Commission.”
On the afternoon of January 12, 2026, at the headquarters of the Financial Academy in Hanoi, the Financial Academy and Hoa Binh University collaborated to organize a seminar titled “Sharing Experiences and Guidelines for Building Project Proposals for Erasmus Plus Funded by the European Commission” for 14 higher education institutions in Vietnam. Associate Professor Dr. Mai Ngoc Anh, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Financial Academy, chaired the seminar.

Over 50 delegates participated in the seminar both in person and online, including representatives from the following institutions: Hanoi University; the Financial Academy; Hoa Binh University; the Academy of Public Administration and Management; the University of Industrial Technology; Thai Nguyen University; Phenikaa University; Quang Ninh University of Industry; the Vietnam National University of Agriculture; Cuu Long University; Thuy Loi University; University of Industrial Economics and Technology; Commerce University; Ha Long University; the Vietnam National University of Agriculture; Vinh University of Technical Education; Northwest University; Hanoi Pedagogical University 2; and other partner schools online.

Notably, the seminar featured the participation of two experienced experts in Erasmus projects: Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Thao, Director of the ItaCentro Center, and Ms. Hoang Thu Thuy from the ItaCentro Center at Hanoi University.

During the discussion session, representatives from the universities detailed the preparation process, criteria for selecting proposals and partners, and techniques for collaborating with European partners within the framework of the Erasmus Plus Project.

The seminar was a practical and meaningful event that timely connected knowledge and experiences from pioneering universities that have successfully proposed and implemented numerous projects with new members joining the system.

During the three sessions of the seminar, speakers and representatives from the 14 higher education institutions listened to presentations about the Erasmus+ program, technical guidance on preparing project proposals under Erasmus + KA171, information about full scholarships for Vietnamese undergraduate and master’s students, and post-doctoral programs in Italy for the academic year 2026-2027. The dual degree program with international partners under Erasmus not only opens up opportunities for credit exchange for students but also fosters training for staff and lecturers. Additionally, in the framework of bilateral cooperation, Vietnamese students have opportunities for paid internships at reputable Italian companies in various fields such as tourism, restaurant and hotel management, logistics and supply chain, nursing, etc.

Hoa Binh University actively and proactively participates in collaborative efforts with higher education institutions in the European Union (EU), gradually realizing the strategy for the internationalization of higher education, enhancing staff capacity, and preparing future generations of Vietnamese youth to be global citizens.
