Hoa Binh University Participates in STRIVE Training for Erasmus Plus Network Connection 2026
On January 5-6, 2026, at the invitation of the President of Hanoi University, the President of Hoa Binh University dispatched international cooperation staff to participate in a training session titled “Sharing Experiences in Implementing the Erasmus+ KA1 Project,” aimed at fostering network connections and enhancing capacity.

This training is part of the STRIVE initiative. The event featured experts from Europe and representatives from nearly 15 universities and academies across Vietnam. As education becomes increasingly globalized, this gathering not only signifies progress in international collaboration but also opens a strategic dialogue forum between Vietnamese universities and European partners.
The STRIVE project, or “Strengthening Internationalization of Vietnamese Emerging Universities,” is coordinated by AlmaLaurea (Italy) with funding from the European Union, and Hanoi University serves as the lead institution for the project in Vietnam. The event welcomed a delegation of high-level international experts, including Ms. Luisa Mengoni and Mr. Enrico Dongiovanni from AlmaLaurea; Ms. Felicetta Ripa and Ms. Vanessa Torri from the University of Tuscia, Italy; and Professors Paulo Resende da Silva and Jaime Serra from the University of Évora, Portugal.
Among the significant attendees were leaders from participating universities, including Associate Professor Lương Thanh Cường (Deputy Director of the National Academy of Public Administration), Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Chúc (Vice President of Phu Xuân University, Hue), and Dr. Phạm Đức Thang (Vice President of Quảng Ninh University of Industry).
The event attracted interest from 14 other higher education institutions, such as Phenikaa University, Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Hoa Binh University, Industrial Economics Technology University, Finance Academy, Ha Long University, and Vinh University of Technology Education, creating a robust academic network.
As a new member of the Erasmus community, Hoa Binh University is actively engaging with the network and learning from the experiences of previous project members.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the European Union, the Italian Universities Association AlmaLaurea, the University of Tuscia, and both domestic and international partners who organized this event, which connects educational institutions and supports Vietnam’s ambition for higher education internationalization.
Following this event, from January to June 2026, Hoa Binh University will work alongside the Finance Academy, Hanoi University, Industrial Economics Technology University, and several domestic and international higher education institutions to build future projects under the Erasmus Plus framework.
