Singaporean students and lecturers visiting Hoa Binh University and exchanging expertise with Vietnamese enterprises in terms of design, architecture, and digital media

During the four-day trip visiting Hanoi in March 2024, faculty members and students from Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore had the opportunity to exchange expertise with Hoa Binh University and visit various companies in Hanoi focused on design, architecture, and digital media.

Nanyang Polytechnic focuses on the doctrine emphasizing that training highlights are aligned with industry demands in the creative sector, such as Animation and Visual Effects, Architecture, Game Design, Interior Design, Game Development and Technology, Interaction Design, Motion Graphics, Visual Communication, and so on.

Furthermore, students from the Industrial Fine Arts, Public Relations, and Communication, and Tourism departments at Hoa Binh University showcased their creative projects. Significantly, the project titled “Fabric Scraps and Fashion” from the faculty of Industrial Fine Arts and Architecture from Hoa Binh University advanced to the national finals in terms of creative design. Additionally, the communication video “Những đóa hương” (The splendor of Vietnamese incense) from the faculty of Public Relations and Communication placed in the top five best media videos in the Asia-Pacific sustainable development competition under the ERASMUS+ project, organized by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in January 2024.

As part of the exchange activities with the 25-student delegation from Singapore in Hanoi, faculty and students from Hoa Binh University and Nanyang Polytechnic specializing in design, architecture, and digital media visited companies in Hanoi, such as Laser Media, Master Media, and Eurotile, for an insight of industry practices.

In the era of social media expansion and heightened competition among enterprises and markets, Hoa Binh University leverages its strengths in practical market-driven training combined with modern technology, equipping students with real-world skills to open doors for students both domestically and internationally.
