Creative Factors

Creativity in Materials: The project falls under the category of “Business for Social Impact”. It combines the use of fabric scraps and collected plastic bottles to recycle them into garments with characteristics of thin, lightweight fabric suitable for children.

Reflecting Trends: The design not only offers a fresh and visually appealing perspective but also reflects sustainable trends and environmental conservation in the fashion industry, contrasting with the fast fashion industry in today’s global fashion landscape.

Impact and Significance

The project aims to find solutions to minimize environmental waste in the fashion industry while creating value to help children with cancer. It also condemns the fast fashion industry’s rapid development in fashion design, which is causing severe environmental pollution.

Creativity and Innovation

The “Fabric Scraps and Fashion” project not only demonstrates that innovation and creativity are crucial factors in creating new fashion trends but also contributes to environmental protection and promotes sustainable development in the fashion industry. By reusing fabric scraps, which are often discarded, and combining them with modern design techniques, unique and impressive fashion products have been created, bearing a strong mark of sustainability and environmental consciousness.

Lecturers and Project Members

Through this project, the designers are not only focused on creating beautiful fashion products but also emphasize reducing industrial waste, conserving natural resources, and minimizing negative impacts on the environment. The project has paved the way for a new direction, encouraging the use of available materials, recycling, and reuse, while fostering a sense of responsibility towards the community and nature.
