President of Hoa Binh University Virtually Participates in the 2nd Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly

Hanoi, May 29, 2025 – The President of Hoa Binh University participated in the online second congress of the Asia-Europe People’s Forum, a significant event aimed at promoting international cooperation and building a positive model for peace and friendship among nations.

In accordance with the Secretary-General of the Asia-Europe People’s Forum, on the afternoon of May 29, from 18:00 to 21:00 (Hanoi time), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tô Ngọc Hưng, Vice Secretary-General of the Asia-Europe People’s Forum and President of Hoa Binh University, participated in the Conference to review the activities of the 5-year period from 2021 to 2025 and discuss the direction of activities for the period 2026-2030 of the Association.

The  Eurasian People’s Assembly was established in 2017 with a commitment to fostering peace and friendship among the peoples of Asia and Europe, grounded in the core values of cooperation, community, and harmony. The goal is to create a model of social cooperation within the Asia-Europe Major Partners, based on ethical and spiritual principles. This event focuses on the development of multilateral cooperation and public diplomacy, aiming to strengthen friendship and harmony among nations.

Enhancing Friendship and Preserving the Diversity of the Asia-Europe Continent

The main tasks of the Association discussed include: Enhancing people-to-people diplomacy through the operational mechanisms of the Association, creating a broad communication platform between civil society organizations and governments, promoting unity among Asian and European peoples, and educating the younger generation on shared values and ethics, supporting public and state initiatives to preserve peace, enhance friendship, and conserve the diversity of resources on the Asia-Europe continent.

Higher Education: Foundation for Shaping the Future

Higher education is one of the key focuses of the Association’s work. Assoc. Prof. Dr. To Ngoc Hung, President of Hoa Binh University, emphasizes the role of education in building a peaceful and prosperous society.
