Wrapping up the formal assessment survey of the quality of 06 educational programs at Hoa Binh University.

On September 30, 2024, Hoa Binh University (HB University) collaborated with the Quality Assurance Center for Education – Vinh University (the Center) to hold the Closing Ceremony of the formal evaluation survey serving the assessment of 06 training programs, including 05 undergraduate programs in: Economic Law, English Language, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Hospitality and Tourism Service Management, and 01 Master’s program in Economic Law.

In attendance at the Wrapping up the formal assessment survey (hereafter mentioned as the Closing Ceremony) were the External Evaluation Expert Team (EEET) from the Quality Assurance Center for Education – Vinh University, including: Prof. Dr. NGND. Dinh Xuan Khoa – Head of the EEET; Dr. Nguyen Dinh Huy – Deputy Director of the Center, Secretary of the Team; MSc. Gian Hoang Anh – Supervisor, along with other members of the EEET team.

Representing the University were: Dr. Nguyen Van Nyu – Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; NGND. Prof. Dr. To Ngoc Hung – Deputy Party Secretary, Rector of the University; Prof. Dr. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trong, Dr. Dao Hai – Vice Rectors; along with members of the Self-Assessment Council (SAC), department heads, functional units, faculty members, staff, and students of the University.

Overview of the Closing Ceremony of the formal evaluation survey of the quality of 06 training programs at Hoa Binh University.

The formal evaluation of the 06 training programs spanned 05 working days (from September 26, 2024 to September 30, 2024) at HB University, involving activities such as: collecting opinions from stakeholders; inspecting and surveying the physical facilities supporting the training programs such as: library, resource room, laboratories, classrooms; studying evidence files and related documents; interviewing and discussing with relevant groups inside and outside the University; working directly and online with officials in charge of specialization at functional units and departments overseeing the evaluated training programs. Through this process, the Expert Team gathered a substantial amount of objective information, enabling accurate evaluations and valuable recommendations to enhance the quality of education at the University.

During the Closing Ceremony, Professor Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa – Head of the Evaluation Team, along with the team members, presented the report on the results of the educational quality assessment of 06 Training Programs at Hoa Binh University. The report not only highlighted strengths and limitations but also provided practical recommendations to guide the University’s future development. The contributions of the external evaluation team marked a significant milestone in enhancing the education quality at Hoa Binh University.

In his speech at the Closing Session, People’s Teacher, Assoc. Prof, Dr. To Ngoc Hung – HBU President, expressed sincere gratitude to the external expert team; furthermore, he highly appreciated the team’s analyses and assessments of the 06 Training Programs. Over the course of 05 working days at the University, the team demonstrated a high level of seriousness, responsibility, objectivity, and humanism.

The HBU President earnestly acknowledged and embraced the recommendations of the external expert team. The University will leverage its strengths, address its limitations, and establish specific plans and actions to improve the education quality, better serving the student community in the upcoming period.

Also within the Closing Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Huy – Deputy Director of the Center, Supervisor of the Team, extended appreciation to the university leadership, staff, faculty, and students of Hoa Binh University for their close collaboration with the external expert team during the formal evaluation period. The University facilitated the experts in conducting assessment activities, ensuring precise, honest, and objective evaluations based on evidence and in compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Center. Moreover, it is hoped that the bond with Hoa Binh University will continue in the realm of educational quality assurance in the time ahead.

To conclude the Closing Session, Hoa Binh University and the Quality Assurance Center for Education – Vinh University signed the Completion Report of the formal evaluation of the 06 Training Programs.
